Today is what I would call a "sunset" kind of day. You know, one of those days that you can just go at your own pace, don't need to be anywhere anytime soon and just enjoy the moments God gives you.
I enjoyed little man staring outside our front door as he watched his Grandpa mow the yard. Fascinating what little minds will see in amazement! Scrapbook moment!! :)
Later on, he and I joined some close friends for a picnic. It's so nice to be able to go to someone else's family reunion and act as if you belong to that family ... haha! Welp, we were and have always been. Little man was able to explore all around the yard, eat homemade ice cream and inspect every car's tires that was parked in the driveway.
Tonight as his bath-water turned brown, I had to smile to myself at how lucky we are to be home-sweet-home!
