We are currently snowed in here on the East Coast, so if we wish to not go stir crazy then we need to think of a few ways to keep ourselves entertained. I've probably cleaned the house a few times and the laundry pile is down to a manageable level.
My brother's girlfriend, Mary was happy to receive her Paper Pumpkin in the mail this week. So, we spread out on the kitchen table.
This month's Paper Pumpkin was full of hearts just in time for Valentine's Day, I really enjoyed stamping them. Mary is going to make a banner with hers for her classroom bulletin board ... such a cute idea, and so easy, too!
With so many colors to choose from it was easy to incorporate themes for each boy and girl in her classroom.
I also like the idea from Stampin' Up! to use two hearts by taping them together to form a pocket for cookies and other treats. Yum!
I had enough hearts left over after making my banner so I used them for a door decoration of balloons and plan to use them in a scrapbook layout.
I'm all ready for spring! Well, at least for Valentine's Day anyway. I guess there's another snow day tomorrow.
